Dan Sholem's equipment finance background includes managing a $2 Billion portfolio of equipment on lease to semiconductor manufacturers around the globe; remarketing commercial and corporate aircraft; pricing and structuring initial leases; negotiating mid-term and end-of-lease extensions/buyouts/ returns; raising funds to finance equipment lease transactions and reviewing master lease agreements.
With experience spanning most every equipment type from computers and construction equipment to a variety of manufacturing tools and transportation equipment, clients rely on this expertise in the process of managing their leased equipment.
Dan earned a B.A. from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from St. Louis University. He has published numerous articles in equipment leasing trade journals and has held positions with several leasing companies, most recently with Comdisco Electronics Group. Also, Dan is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Illinois' College of Business where he teaches Equipment Finance & Leasing for the M.B.A program.
Following several years in the San Francisco Bay area, Dan, his wife, Tracy, and their daughters reside in Champaign, Illinois. |
